Sap functional consultant in respect to Sap bw

Hi all,

I am a sap hcm functional consultant.I have never involved in sap bw.

Currently we have identified some infotypes needed for reporting in Sap BW.To do this we have a Bw consultant,abap consultant.

But once the requirement is acheived how the functional consultant will test these whether both data in Sap Bw and Hr system is matched.

Can any of you please provide me inputs how it works?Or this done like a regular testing getting data from hr system ans downloading data from sap bw system and doing vlook up.Or there is any particular steps we do the testing.

Its very urjent .can any of you share the experience how functional involved in this.
