Hello,

What is the purpose of non stock material in BOM?

You can use the direct procurement where non-stock items directly gets consumed to production order

Direct Procurement - Special Planning Processes - SAP Library

I agree. Client requirement was to exclude it in MIGO while it appears in Production order components. It was working in the same way. But recently got changed during system refresh and unable to get the figure out configuration setting that has been changed.

Thanks.

Hello,

Please check N - non-stock item maintained in BOM then system will be setting value 1 in direct procurement in the production order.

Also check the config of non-stock item category N in OS13 inventory management tick should not be checked.

Hi Brahmankar,

Direct procurement is not setting to 1 in the production order. This is missing. It should automatically come but is missing. Investigating the same. Let me know if you have any clue.

Thanks.

Hi Keerthi,

For the non stock item direct procurement option (MRP or production order) you to define in SPRO - MRP - plant parameters.

tcode - OPPQ.

Hello,

Do you have this issue with all non-stock materials?

Did you check the config of non-stock material?

What is item category in production order component list?

Item category in "N" for the component list in the production order.

However, I found that the actual issue is with "movement allowed indicator" which is filtering non-stock components in reservation and MIGO. For all previous orders, it was inactive and for current orders, it is active. There is no option to change the indicator as it is greyed out. It is automatically set when the order is created. Is there any setting to make it inactive for non-stock components?

Thanks.

I've checked the configuration. It is not set.

Will check the note. Thanks.

Thanks a lot Brahmankar.

I've made the setting for material type as per the note and it worked.

Movement allowed indicator is made inactive when the Production order is created with which the non-stock item is excluded from Reservation and MIGO.
