DSO Full Load & ACR

Hello Experts,

I need some changes coming through from ECC for an InfoObject to reflect in BW system. We already have all the data into PSA. Please help if the below approach is correct or has some bottle necks/ concerns:

- Load full request from PSA to DSO

- Activate request

- Execute ACR for our infoobject

- Delete the dull request from DSO so that the other delta requests in our DSO do not get disturbed.

Can you please help and suggest if this is the right way to go?

Hi Sheen,

Are the Keyfigures additive in the DSO, else the final step can be avoided.

You can load the master data and then load data to the DSO , and activate it.

First load data to master data info object and run ACR.

Later load data to DSO and activate it.

Delete data from DSO is not needed.

As DSO its over write function. so deletion is not required.

Actually why you want to delete full load request from DSO?

Hi Sheen,

ACR is basically to keep the master data upto-date so that it can generate SID's while you load the transaction data.

What is the load you are going to do from PSA to DSO ? Transaction data ?

Yes, it will be Transactional Data.

You need not worry about the Transaction data.

Update the master data for that info-object and run the ACR.

Sid's will now be created and transactional data will be loaded without any issue.

Hi Sheen,

Have you done any enhancement(adding a new field) to your datasource recently.

Why do you want to delete a old request from DSO.

Can you elaborate your requirement.
