Hiding certain fields in web browser

We are into SRM version 5.00 and follow a classic scenarios.

In service procurement scenarios if we want to hide certain fields on the screen in the web browser how do we do that.

Can any one throw light on this.

Also if we have to add a new field which should be displayed on the web browser how to add a field element.

regarding the question how to add new fields, please take a look at note 672960 which describes the use of customer fields.

hi,

For hiding fields, perhpas you can manage the fields with screen variants and Badi.

If you want to add new fields, please use customer fields

and manage them with badis BBP_CUF_BADI and BBP_CUF_BADI_2.
