Where to find Sales Lead Management in Scoping?

Hi experts,

in reference to I want to activate Sales Lead Management and deactivate the currently used Sales Lead Management (obsolete). But I cannot find the Sales Lead Management in scoping?

The Lead Management is -I think- the Marketing Lead Management.

Thanks for help.

Next to the New Business node, you have Lead Management > Leads. This is the new Leads object which should be used. There is a further question in scoping where you can specify how you want to use Leads - if you want to use them without Account Marketing Lead) or with Account (Sales Lead). You can also enable a checkbox on the UI of Leads creation screen to switch between these 2 modes.

    • Hi Deborah,

      This is the scoping question:

As I mentioned before, if you want the user to be able to switch between the 2 modes, you can enable this checkbox on the Lead Quick Create UI. Otherwise leave the checkbox hidden and use the scoping question above to force the mode you want.

    Hello Deborah,

This functionality been changed some releases ago.

Now it is recommended to use the business topic Marketing -> Leads Management> Leads to capture data
that is related to leads, as the Sales Lead Management business topic is obsolete for new implementations,

which means that would not receive any additional features in the future.

    Hope this answer.

    Thanks and Regards,

    • Hello Ankush,

does this mean the object "Sales Lead" is in total obsolete (-> no topic for new developments). So anything concerning leads should be handled over Leads (Marketing Leads - COD_MKT_PROSPECTWC)??

      Thanks and regards,
