Problem opening wizard in NWDS

hello,

           here I am facing a problem, while iam trying to create aEAR project for deployment in NWDS through file menu ->export->SAP netweaver portal->EAR file then there is a message popup like "Problem opening wizard The opening wizard could not be started

Guys I am facing some error like while I am deploying the related portal application there a message pop up appear with exceptin throwm message here I am attaching the related schreenshot. Plz help me ASAP to get resolve the issue

The issue might be due to some corruption in your deployments.

Can you please try these steps to fix it :

1. Shut down the workspace.

2. Delete the file  which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/

3. Start the IDE.

4. try to create new application and deploy

Let me know still have any issues.

ok Vijay but I have already developed portal application in this case what to do I maen I have to develop new application

and how to shutdown the workspace ? is there any standard procedure plz let me know as I am quit new in support and at NWDS side as well.

when you are getting this error. while deploying or open the nwds that time

is it WD-JAVA dc's or another dc's

while deploying the project and its a portal application (jsp file)

take the backup the application. remove the work space/dtr etc...

and close the NWDS and re open the NWDS. try to create new application and deploy

then check still having same issue or not

Hi,

Have you changed any setting in NWDS?

Does this happen for any project you try to export to .EAR?

This ofcourse may relate to the actual project.
