The Quick Reference guide provides an overview of the core features and the main features supported for each modeling domain.

Start with the Tutorial Videos available under the Help menu.

You can also begin by reading the 'Getting Started with PowerDesigner' available under 'Help/Help Contents (F1)'.  The 'Core Features Guide' has a section on 'Modeling wiht PowerDesigner -> Getting Started with PowerDesigner'
