Delete empty lines in .txt file used as input for LUmira

Hi,

I would like to use Lumira on a .txt data-file delivered by an application.

Unfortunately, this .txt file has an empty-blank line in between every data-line (with a <LF> character).

Has anybody any idea how I can use Lumira to get rid of it ?

I know I can do it with XLS but I would prefer to use directly Lumira for it

Many thanks.

Hi,

U can filter item, in prepare tab, select filter icon, not in list - > select that empty row -> apply.

Hi Pradeep

I guess the idea here I guess Ocula want to ignore the empty lines. The snapshot which you have shown above, it had to be done other way round meaning select the other three options in filter which will remove the empty line from the data. As the empty lines has not been added in the filter, in the data it will not appear then.

Hi,

Ya you idea is correct. This will work for small data set. Consider we have say min 100 data including <<empty>>, then what you will do

Hi

I agree with you Pradeep, its anyways a workaround to the actual problem. To handle such scenario I believe there should be some option of excluding in the Filter rather than just including.

There is no direct way of achieving that while acquisition. However, you can handle that in prepare room by adding empty value filter with 'Not in List' operator on your key column.
