Upgrade BOFC and OS

Hi Dear Experts,

We plan to update BOFC (Financial Consolidation) to last support package. But we have some questions:

1. We check PAM and there found that last supported OS is Windows server 2008 r2 and last supported DB is Windows SQL Server 2008 R2, but also I've read document fixed issues of last sp, and found that BOFC now supports Windows server 2012 r2 and Windows SQL Server 2012. Where is truth?

2.  BOFC 10 and BOFC 10.1 is the same systems in term of licensing? Example we have FC10 licenses, we can update to 10.1 legally?

Thanks...

Dear Daulet,

To answer your first question:

  • Windows server 2012 r2 is supported with FC 10 starting from the SP 16.

2138028 - FC 10: Does Financial Consolidation 10 support Windows
Server 2012 R2?

  • SQL Server 2012 is supported by Financial Consolidation 10.0 starting from the Service Pack 11.

1850576 - FC : Does Financial Consolidation 10 support SQL Server
2012?

Hello Igor,

in fact, FC 10.0 supports Windows server 2012 since the support package 16.

Hi,

our customer is asked about perfomance test for FC, Intercompany.

Example, can we simulate many users simultaneously work (about 70 users)?

Is there maybe some tools?
