Dear Experts

I need to configure our sap system to access from the out side though SAP router.

The connection I just need over the SAP router. Not though VPN and Static IP.

I supposed to have the connection with one sap router or 2 sap routers.

Second method with 2 sap routers.

I have already configure a static public IP to the SAP system can access over the internet via the public IP.

My saprouttab configuration as follows.

regards

Priyan

Dear Gaurav

I went through the link you send me. These all are fine. The SAP support can be reached to my system OSS.

I just want me to connect to the SAP system from internet.

I have attached dev_rout file here.

Hello,

The service definition "sapdp00" is missing at the saprouter server.

You should add this definition to the "services" file of the operating system:

  • /etc/services - on Linux and UNIX
  • \windows\system32\drivers\etc\services

The service sapdp00 should point to the TCP port 3200.

After maintaining all required services, restart the saprouter.

Regards,

Isaías

PS: it would be strongly recommend NOT to open SAP directly to the internet. Usage of a VPN would be highly recommended.

Hello Priyan,

Please maintain following entries in etc/host in system as shown and try

You might have this entries already in the desktop/laptop

192.101.X.Y    hostname.xyz.com

Add another another entry as

Static IP     hostname.xyz, com (It should be FQDN)

Let us know if you are able to connect.

Anand

Hi Priyan,

Under application server you need to provide local IP of the server which you want to access remotely and under SAPRouter String provide the static IP(NAT with local IP under firewall) which you've provided to SAP Router system.e.g /H/202.165.88.221/S/3299/H , where 202.165.88.221 is the static IP which is already mapped/NAT with local IP of SAP Router .

Hope you'll get me.

hi Gaurav.

Yes.

Please provide me the step which I need to do.

The configuration which I have done is sufficient, please give me what should I provide entries for the sap logon?

I have already provide NAT to the Sap router for public IP.

Configure saprouttab to allow all rule.

Allow firewall from public to saprouter and sap server.

SAP logon config as follows I have done as follows
