Hello all,
When the physical inventory differences are posted to ERP from EWM, we know material documents are created and financial documents are also posted as a result.
Question i have is - Does this process creates physical inventory document in ECC? Any configuration is required in ECC for this from the integration perspective.
Kindly clarify
Thanks
Ravi
To my knowledge, no separate configuration is required in ECC as long as you setup the batch job in
Extended Warehouse Management → Physical Inventory → Periodic Processing → Post Differences to ERP System

Hi,
there is no plan to create a physical inventory document in ECC by this. The physical inventory in EWM is much more accurate in this scenario as EWM manages the stock on bin and HU level while ECC only knows about the total stock of a product.
As said in the first reply, there will be only a difference posting sent to ERP in case somebody found or lost stock in EWM.
