How to close TR for partial Kanban pick with differences

I'm on WM SU-managed. Say I have a Kanban quantity of 10. On occasion, I may have SU for qty 8 and another SU for qty 2. Rather than confirm both pick TOs, I want to only confirm the qty 8. For the other qty, I can confirm with differences and return the qty back to source bin. So far so good...but my problem is that the TR remains open for qty 2. The open TR prevents me from indicating Kanban Full. Is there no standard way to have TR get closed out in this scenario?

You need to manually change the header status of TR to Fully processed. Goto edit mode and at header level you will find the status

I figured it out -- simple config setting on the difference indicator allows the system to automatically close out TR.
