Plant section Assignement to Functional Location.

Hello All,

I created a plant section and I want to assign created plant section to one of the functional location( In location tab in IL02).

While assigning Plant section to functional location the new plant section  is transferred to all XX functional locations
and XX pieces of equipment. I don't want newly created plant section to be associated with all functional locations and equipment's, is there any way I can assign plant section to main functional location?

You need to change the "data origin" for the first order subordinate locations only.

Hi,

I guess this is a standard behaviour. Refer below notes

Secondly there may be suggestion to break this logic using User exit, but still not sure on the performance later.
