Generic exception occured in SNAPSHOT configuration

I am trying to create new Snapshot for Planning Area that is copy of SAP2 but getting Generic Exception Error and Snapshot not getting saved.

The following keyfigures were selected for creation of the SNAPSHOT having different Base Planning Levels like PERPRODCUS, PERPRODLOC, PERPRODLOCLOCFR and PERPRODLOCSRC.

TOTALCONSTRAINEDDEMAND

CONSENSUSDEMAND

INVENTORYTARGET

DEPENDENTDEMAND

NETDEMAND

TOTALRECEIPT

SUPPLY

PROJECTEDINVENTORY

RECEIPT

DEPENDENTLOCATIONDEMAND

TRANSPORT

PRODUCTION

Does this cause any issue for SNAPSHOT to be created and saved? I looked at IBP 4.0 Model Reference Guide Snapshot section pages 76 and 77 but did not find any restriction.

Best regards,

Somnath

Hello

Which release of SOP/IBP were you using? Those KFs are supply I/O KF?

Hi YS,

I am using IBP 4.0 Support Pack 2 Patch 1 (Starter Edition).

Yes these are all Supply Input Output keyfigures.

Is there a restriction on taking snapshot on Supply Planning keyfigures?

Thanks,

Somnath

Hi Somnath,

Can you check if kf PROJECTEDINVENTORY and INVENTORYTARGET has helper key figure at request level. If yes, then snapshot cannot be defined for key figure which has helper key figure as input(see release restrictions in SAP note 2037139)

You should be able to define snapshot if you remove these two key figures from input.

Thanks,

Rohit
