Excise Base Amount Update

Dear Friends,

We are facing an issue wherein Excise Base amount(Field EXBAS) is not updating in the table J_1IEXCDTL. Whereas BED and other values are updating. This is happening after path upgrade.

Do we have to use J_1I7_USEREXIT_CALC_EXC_BASE to update the above value. I have checked the said user exit but there is no logic written inside the program. EXBAS values were getting updated before patch upgrade. If so how to find out what logic was written inside the program.

Please suggest.

Hi Dayananda,

Kindly check any new conditions types added in the pricing procedures(which are considered as base for excise calcualtion) If this is the case with help of ABAPER you need to write your own logic in this userexit J_1I7_USEREXIT_CALC_EXC_BASE . Also check for the pricing condition type in the field Cond.Category value "H" is mainatined or not.

If you are still facing issue other than the above two statements then raise OSS to SAP.
