Settlement of AUC to final asset CJ88 Negative costs

Former Member

Hi experts,

The flow is the following.

- WBS element is defined as investment measure

- The WBS receives costs and products (negative costs)

- While executing periodic settlement (CJ88), PRODUCTS are settled well to AUC ==> OK

- While executing global settlement and after having created final asset, PRODUCT are not settled to final asset ==> NOK

Negative values are allowed at asset class catgeories level.

The message is the following :

"Asset has no values in fiscal year 2015 for area: 01"

Any ideas?

NB: New asset accounting is activated.

Thanks

Definitely negative assets are possible in certain business cases, generally "allow -ve value" is available on depreciation area setting but same can be done for asset class configuration OAYZ also to allow -ve postings.

So you are saying your Fixed Asset will have an overall negative value?  That doesn't seem to make sense.

If this can be done is a question for asset accounting.

Hi Sanaa,

Can you please check whether WBS is set Teco status. If it is already set check in which month it is set.

Thanking you

Hi,

Yes the status is TECO. The status has been set during the same month of final settlement.
