Outlook Addin language setting

Hi all,

I have just installed the Outlook Addin and am wondering why it was installed in German instead of English. I am running an English Windows 8.1 and English Microsoft Outlook 2013. Only my language preferences are currently in German.I was having the Addin in English the last time I installed it. But due to a change of my Laptop I had to install it again today.

Any suggestions? Is there a config file one might manipulate?

Thanks and regards,

Stefan

Hi,

The language of the addin is controlled by the current default language in Internet Explorer. It tries to get the language settings of IE, if it fails then it picks the language of the OS.

Try installing the English language pack of .Net and set the language of IE to English. Restart Outlook.

Thanks you Partho,

this is exactly how it works. I have changed my language Settings to english being the Primary language and the Addin was launched in English!

Thanks and regards,

Stefan

Hi Everyone.

I just changed my language settings to English in the IE, which worked But for some reason I get the "SAP Coud for Customer" folder in the left side, to still showing in Danish? how do i change that, so it also shows in English?

Kind regards

Hello Stefan,

If your Logon language maintained in C4C system is German, Then if you download the add in and install it, The add in language will be german. If you do not want add in to be german. Then you can follow what Chandan mentioned above.

Hello Stefan,

Try logging into C4C using English language and download the Add In again. Install and confirm.

Hey Chandan,

thanks for the quick reply. That's exactly how I did it two times. I was downloading it using English in C4C.

Stefan
