HI Folks ,

I have one serious problem in solman system that after adding the tcodes in the menu we are not able to see its description.

although we have clicked the + button also

Due to which its not visible in user menu and only folder type thing is visible, i have checked in TSTC Table all the tcodes ia having their name too.

I read before where someone had this and they removed a couple random tcodes from the menu and then added them back in and the descriptions all came back. It is an easy quick try before trying tons of other things as you indicate the text from the tcodes are visible in TSTCT.  Good Luck!!

Hi,

how did you add that transaction codes into the role menu?

(manually/import form xxxx/..?)

Was this role created in this system or imported (transport/upload)?

Do the transaction texts exist in the language in which the role ahs been created in this system? (hint: check table tstct)´

Do any entries exist for that role in any language in table agr_hiert?

What happens if you create a new role from scratch and you enter for instance t-code pp01 into the menu?

Hi Bernhard,

We have uploaded these roles in our development box from some other system, but their all was fine.

In TSTCT table and found the tcode PP01 in "E" and "D" language nd in AGR_HIERT table found role in "E".

After then we have freshly added the tcode and yes its showing us this time.

Please help us what could be done in case of mass changes in roles as we have lot of roles and tcodes which need to be visible,\.

If you "upload" role from files then all sorts of things can go wrong.

Probably they have some foreign "original" language from another project which this system does not have in it's language libraries.

Template roles and taking excel files with from one project to the next is the domain of "fluffy consuting".

You must maintain Su24 and then work out what is really used and really needed and then design the single roles at job description level locally in PFCG by building them.

About 30 to 50 roles does the trick (x the replication for orgsets but avoid derived roles) and a view special functions. Then you are done on 2 months and can go live in the 3rd month and have a "success story" to tell.

SU24 and merge in expert mode! Not PFCG upload file exchange!

Hi,

In order to see the tcodes in the SAP easy access - user menu, the roles which assigned to the user should disable the option "Hide Menu from SAP Easy Access" in the Menu options of the tcode pfcg

Ramesh Kumar.

Hello Ramesh,

please read again the problem description from Pranjal. Your suggestion has no influence on missing t-code texts(!) in PFCG and the session manager....

....and?

What is the content in agr_hiert for your role and t-code PP01 and SPRAS=E? Is it 'Maintain Plan Data (menu-Guided)'? Or is it empty?

You probably have used an inconsistent upload file, or modified the file, etc.

You can try to fill missing texts with report prgn_corrmen2...

Exactly. The source system file has no relation to this system. Most likely the original language of the texts.

Or the concept was to generate files of manipulate files. Same thing and same problem when used beyond system boundaries. The texts is probably the smallest of the problems.
