Decimals in Analysis Charts

Hello Experts,

i have the problem that for datasources/crosstabs that contain values which never have decimal places still show decimals in the chart component of analysis. The values that i mean here are those that are displaed when you hover over for example one bar in a bar chart. This can however be fixed if you use the excel function to change the cell type to "text" but after refreshing the datasource this is overwritten again. Is there a possibilty to set this for the chart/crosstab/datasource fixed? So that it would never show decimals?

Hello Dominik - please share which version of Analysis Office (1.4, 2.0 or 2.1) and SP you are using. I can't reproduce this in the version I am using.  Also please use the camera icon to share what you are experiencing

Hello Tammy,

i am using Version 2.1.2.49735

as you see here ther is an unneeded decimal in the tooltip. I cannot find a way to remove those.

Dominik - thank you - did you right click and select number format, select 0 decimal places?

Yes i did and it stands on 0 already. For this crosstab this seems to work but for the chart it shows a decimal.

That is really strange; I recommend opening an incident with SAP Support so they can troubleshoot the situation.

Ok i think i found the problem the format that is handed over to Excel by Analysis is defined in the format set (SAP Blue or SAP Styles etc.). If i export one of those as XML i can change the decimals for "SAPDataCell" in the file and reupload that with a different name. If i then use this format set in my Workbook the graphic shows no more decimals.
