MTS and MTO difference

how system will identify the MTS and MTO i.e., where we configure the differecence between them?

Hi Subbu,

The difference between MTO and MTS is decided by the requirement type, which is linked to the requirement class in OVZH. In OVZG, for a particular requirement class, if the consumption field is 'E', it indicates that the sales order is MTO. If it is blank then it is MTS.

This is the primary difference between MTS and MTO.
