BPC NW 10.0 on HANA Security modification

Hi Guys

I am currently working with a SAP BPC 10.0 NW on HANA implimentation. The setting up of all the teams, task profiles as well as the member access profiles have been created and linked in DEV. Due to company policy, the security needed to be modified as a result of BPC creating its own generic roles in BW and the role's names have been changed to accomodate for this.

The test in DEV was successful where the access of a specific user was tested in terms of the access required, even if the role allocation was done via the GRC team and NOT in BPC backend. When we transported the new company name standard roles to QA as well as the BPC role transport to try and replicate the securities in that box, it dont seem to be working and everything is the same in both environments.

Do anyone have any ideas on what to check next in order for the securities to work? Can there perhaps be a setting in BW to change to prevent a possible conflict?

Hello,

From the description you have provided it seems that you may have customized BPC security object names. Please check the entries in UJE_TEAM_AGR table in your target system and confirm the values in profile_agr column are correct.  These entries should have either the standard BPC prefix or your customized name space, as defined in global parameter AGR_PREFIX.  If you do not see the correct values for profile_agr then refer to note 2218354.
