Hi,

Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 is not fully tested with Windows Server 2008, as this it has been released (February 2008) just after Windows Server 2003. You can install BOE XIR2 on it, but there might be certain issues related with it.

Windows Server 2008 is not supported for XIR2. The latest Windows version that is supported for XIR2 is 2003.

ts compatible with BO XIR 3.1 onwards.

what version of BO should we use when using windows 2008 and when using windows 2012? Is there a possible upgrade from BOXI r2 to the required BO version?

If there is a BO version available for these platform, do we need to perform adjustment in our universes and reports developed in BO I R2?
