Org unit should not be determined in search

Hi All,

we need to restrict a org unit from determination while searching for a support team using Organizational unit in ITSM ticket.

We don't want to delete this unused org unit and want to use it for future. we also loose data if we are going to delete this org unit from the structure.

Is there anyway to stop the org unit from appearing in the search for support team based on org model.

Please help me to find a way out.

Incase if somebody like to do a workaround, I achieved the above with a workaround

I marked the BP for archive and enhanced the BSP search component and excluded all archived BP's from appearing while searching.
