I am trying to print a logical model diagram as PDF by setting the page as Tabloid and orientation as 'Landscape'; I also set the options as 'fit in 1 page'; However the printed PDF always is in a truncated mode; it misses several entities in the diagram or shows them in partial content. It works fine in letter mode, but not in any other page size. Is this a PD Bug or any work around exists to print diagrams in tabloid mode without losing model contents.
I am using PD 16.5 sp03 PL03 64-bit version
thanks
Krishna
I can't help you with the paper size, as I've never heard of Tabloid paper - perhaps it's unique to the US.
How are you printing to PDF? PD doesn't support it, so I assume you're using 3rd party software.

Hi George
This is not limited to Tabloid page; what I do, I choose the print option and select printer as PDF so that I can create a PDF file instead of sending to a real printer.
But once I choose PDF as Printer and select the option of fit the model in 1 page, it appears, PowerDesigner only supports letter size paper; even if I select legal paper size, the model gets truncated on the pdf. My model is roughly consists of 30-40 tables which otherwise span multiple letter size papers; But once I select 'Fit to 1 page', I get to see the model in a typical 15% of the original size. Even then it creates a PDF file with truncated model.
hope this helps.
Thank you
Krishna
Hi Krishna,
I just tried this with a small model using 16.5 SP05 PL03 and it fit all of the objects on one page. How many pages does your diagram cover? Have you tried moving the objects to one page before trying to print the PDF?
Thanks,
Adam
