Hello Experts,
I am pretty new to SAP Lumira and Visualization tools. I am trying to create Visualization for Product line and its size and type
I have product line data with 3 columns named "Product line", "Plating" and "Size" . Below is the screen shot for your reference.
I am trying to create visualization to show for a particular product line what kind of plating we have and its size in stock.
I started exploring different visualizations, however felt "Heat map" is the best for this requirement and after lots of trail and error basis, built one visualization. Below is screen shot for your reference.
I know heat maps shows the highest value in the darkest color, but that's not what I needed. Hence using "Choose colors" under settings I kept same color for all the blocks.
Now, I am curious to know if I can change the color for different plating. For e.g. All Sn's in one color , All Sg's in one color and All Su's in one color.
This is my first real foray into visualization tool so it is fairly new to me. It would be of great help if anyone can suggest me if I could change the color or if any other visualization type/extension is best suit for this purpose.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
I am looking forward for the positive response!!!!!!
Thanks,
Ganesh
Hi,
You can create calculated measure field based on dimension (using formula) and can be used for color field.

Hi Pradeep,
Thanks a ton for the response!
I tried calculating a new dimension using the below mentioned formula and later changed the dimension to measure.
if {Interface_Plating} = "Sg" then "1" else if {Interface_Plating} = "Sn" then "2" else if {Interface_Plating} = "Su" then "3" else ""
Below are the results:
It showing different colors for Su,Sn and Sg respectively. However couple of issues here:
1) It is sorting Su's, Sn's and Sg.
2) When i click on show data labels its not showing the count instead its showing 1 for all Sg's 2 for all sn's and 3 for all Su's
I am trying to achieve something like this.Below is the screen shot for your reference.
Would you be kind enough to help me to achieve this or let me know if it is possible or not.
Thanks again,
Ganesh

Pradeep, this visualization showing different colors for different plating, but its not user friendly/presentable and also its summing the data size when i try to show data labels.
I believe we cannot more than this in heat maps... Thank you very much for your support.
Is there any other visualization which suits for this requirement?
