Dear Mr. Paarthiban
This the flexibility the system have provided such that you make more goods issue or more goods receipt than intended.
In the current version only warning message occur however if you want an error message I recommend you consider PDI option.
However you have option to set the approval process for goods and service receipt (non-stock) exceed quantity of PO quantity, it can trigger an approval task.
Inbound - no approval only warning message however you can perform a supplier return to send the extra delivered quantity.
Outbound - only warning message

Hi,
Thanks for explaining about the system flexibility
Kindly provide a solution for the following business case
Suppose an "End user" is keep on doing more inbound/Outbound in Business ByDesign System and It is throwing a warning message but no where restriction in the system.
After a month or Two, Manager is taking a report from that he is knowing, system is bug because of this issue. How can he overcome this by using our Business ByDesign system in the future.
Make a note that "End user" is voluntarily doing that
As a partner we dont have any PDI for this. Kindly provide me more details about PDIs with other SAP partners
Regards,
Paarthiban

Hi Parthibhan,
The scenario which you have mentioned in hypothetical at the best. The warehouse manager will always have control on the inbound and outbound process in ByD system. The pick list of the put-away list which will be given to warehouse worker who will actually do the pick and put away of goods is provided by the warehouse manager. The warehouse manager takes a print out of the planned quantity details in from the logistics task.
If in any case there is more quantities that needs to be put away or picked the worker will do the same and update in the task screen. However, once the task is completed with more quantities it will not be available to process any more since the task status will be updated to Finished.
You can perform this multiple times form the PGI screen but PGI is used as an after effect action and this documentation will be done by your warehouse manager.
This behavior you have reported to us is as designed and this will not be changed. I hope this answers your question.
Regards
Anand
