Hello George,

I had the same issue here and had to update my JVM to the latest available ie Java 8, in order to start the SUM GUI correctly.

Otherwise, nothing happened when i opened the jnlp file with my Java V7.

HTH,

Best regards,

Steve.

Hi,

Could you share snapshot for the command STARTUP.BAT from the system & result for http://<FQDN of system>:4239/sdtdsu.jnlp

Hi,

As you can see the following pictures, these are what I got so far for the result.

Result of Executing 'STARTUP.BAT'

Result of executing 'http://<host name>:port'

Thanks

Hi George,

Could you try with IP of server instead of host name like

<IP of server>:4239

Also re-verify java installation on the system from where you're trying to execute the SUM launch. Also what is the message if you executes sdtdsu.jnlp file.

Hi,

If I directly run command 'sdtdsu.jnlp', it works. Yet, if I directly execute 'hostname:4239' or 'IP:4239', it doesn't work. I don't know why this happened because it just successfully execute yesterday whatever I use hostname or IP even I directly click 'GUI for the SUM' link, it was fine. I'm confused about this.

Thanks

Hi,

if I directly execute 'hostname:4239' or 'IP:4239', it doesn't work.

Are you able to ping or resolve the system name & IP  ? If you pings host name from the system it should resolve with it's IP .Please confirm.

Hi,

Yeah, I ping it and everything is fine. Yet, when I use hostname or IP to be part of address, it doesn't work.

Thanks

Dear Gaurav,

I've downloaded file 'sdtdsu..jnlp', but SUM GUI doesn't start. It's supposed to start automatically after I download it. Even I start it manually, it doesn't work either.

Thanks
