EWM Temperature Conditions

Hello All,

we have a requirement that our warehouse should handle with product which has different temperature storage conditions.

In master data /SCWM/MAT1 I can't find any field which is related to temperature. But in ERP the storage view in MM03 a field names MARA-TEMPB is available.

Why is this field not CIFed to eWM?

Do you have any experiences in this area?

Hello Liyu,

You have to design the physical storage conditions by creating  storage type and storage section for product with different storage condition.

Suppose i have 10 material with similar storage condition  and other  20 material with similar storage condition.

In this case i will create 2 two storage type or storage section for two different storage condition temperature.

Then apply the indicators to material/product master accordingly as suggested by above experts.

Hi,

You can configure different temperatures (storage conditions)

In ECC -

SPRO->Logistics-General->Material Master->Setting for key fields->Define temperature conditions which will be stored Material master in View Genaral plant data/Stor 1.

In EWM-

SPRO->Extended Warehouse Management->Master Data->Product->Define Warehouse Storage Condition

To be able to adopt warehouse storage conditions from the ERP system, you must create identical warehouse storage conditions in Customizing for the ERP system. For more information, see Settings in the ERP System.

In EWM
SPRO->Extended Warehouse Management->Master Data->Product->Settings in the ERP System

Check storage tab as suggested by phillip

Also same field is avilable in ECC mat master in wh execution view of ECC >> WH Storage Condition.

What you are looking for is the warehouse storage condition, your find it in the Storage tab of product maintance.
