Hi All,

We have indirect activity allocations and based on receiving cost center SKFs allocations are done.

Where ever we have actual posted ,system is allocation cost center actual values correctly.but where ever no cost center actual values, system is allocating using plan cost center values.

How system is doing this?what is the standard process?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Anusha

Hi...

I don’t know whether you refer to the SAP Help portal(Indirect Activity Allocation - Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM-CCA) - SAP Library).

Hi Anusha

You mean to say that suppose your receiver have 4 CCtr and out of that you have posted actual value to 3 CCtrs and system has taken plan value for 4th CCtr...is it?

Have you tried by posting act value 0 for 4th CCtr?

Hi Kamal,

Correct. If a post actuals system is allocating correctly.

If no actual posted to the cost center, plan values are allocating to receivers.

Hi Kamal,

If i post actual cost, cycle is working as expected.not all cases will have actual costs.so system should't consider plan for actual allocations.

Anusha

Hi Anusha

I have told you where you do not want to allocate cost to any receiver then during actual skf posting you post value 0  ..do not skip it without posting any thing.. if you skip then system will take plan value...pl test and revert back

Hi Kamal,

Are you saying that this is a standard SAP behavior.

If actual costs not posted to cost centers, system shouldn't allocate plan costs.this will cause lot of issues with actual cost allocations and price calculations.

Thanks,

Venkat

Hello Anusha,

Can you please paste the screenshot of your KSC3 settings for your cycle of the segment header?

Best regards,
