Ajax Standards Framework Page - Webdynpro ABAP linktoaction does not work

We have upgraded our portal to be able to take advantage of the Ajax Standards Framework Page, however have found that when using it we have a Webdynpro ABAP application that has a table with a linktoaction in the first column.  When the user clicks the link, nothing happens.  The link works fine in the AFP using Quirks mode.  Any idea why changing to Standards mode would cause a linktoaction to fail?

thanks

Hi Chris,

Sounds like in IE you have standards issues, please check the following notes:

Please check notes:

2097861 - AI iView's are not render correctly when using Internet Explorer 10 and above

2058207 - SAP applications iViews in EP: Rendering Modes (BW, BSP and IAC support).

Thanks Mahmoud.  We just upgraded to EP 7.4 SP11 so these should be part of that.  I agree its a standards issue...just cant pinpoint what it is

Hi Chris,

If the WD application requires quirks mode rendering then you would need to either switch back to the non-standards AFP or else launch any quirks applications via NavMode 3 (Display in seperate headerless Window). You can check SAP KBA: 2054208 for information on the Nav Modes.

Best regards,

Nick
