Automatic User Creation in BW

Dear experts

does somebody know, or has already implemented a automatic user creation Process in BW?

I like to know, if and how it would be possible to create SAP BW User from Scratch with all Informations that will be available in SU01:

Any Ideas would be great!

Hi Adrian,

I was able to that automatic thing with the use of tcde LSMW..You may ask the help of an ABAPer or I will try to create a doc about it when I have time..

i have found a way to do that. Uses BAPI's call from SharePoint with RFC Connections.

not sure, but do you want to copy authorization of one user for any new user ??

if yes .. then there is option to copy user role from one user to another.

What do you mean by "Automatic" ?

We have some custom reports or Ecatt stuffs to create users in "mass" but I do not understand what you call "automatic".

Could you decribe a little more the deisred process ?

I mean if we have a Workflow to configure the user account by selecting the roles etc. at the end of this a user account should be automatic created in SAP BW with all informations that could be enter in SU01.

Hello Adrian,

You'll have to use som custom coding or ECATT.

You can also use some LSMW.

This depends on the mean you'd be familiar with.
