Hello Team,
As I am relatively new to workflows hence I need some help as per my scenario.
I have a custom workflow that got executed , However it's status right now is still "in process",
When I looked at the workflow log , I saw that one work item was logically deleted manually, hence that work item status is currently reflecting as cancelled.
Now, It wont manually let me complete anything, neither will it let me proceed.
Is there a way i can just stop/Kill the instance instead of it being stuck at that point?
Do help me understand the different options or steps in detail.
Any help will be appreciated and rewarded.
Thank you.
Hi Ramiwal,
Can u provide the screen shot of technical workflow log to understand the issue in more detail?
Thanks and Regards,
Vikram

Hi Ramiwal,
Can u expand the node for work item id 739726 and 739714 too.
Also, I hope the 893588 is the last step. If not, provide the below log screen shot too.
In addition, can you explain in detail(as in how it stops you from proceeding) what you meant by the below statement:
--> "Now, It wont manually let me complete anything, neither will it let me proceed."
Thanks and Regards,
Vikram
Hi Vikram,
Thanks for your help again
sending you the log , and yes 893588 is the last step in the log.
I meant, For the work items that have status "Cancelled", you cannot do a manual complete via SWIA. So I am wondering if this instance will always be hanging there or is there a way to terminate it , despite the logical deletion of the work items.
Stephane, You've been helpful even in my other post, thank you... However I am really new to workflows and im still finding my feet with most of the wf transaction codes. Therefore for now, I just needed a complete picture.. And I could connect the dots from your post only when the issue was resolved . Maybe it was just my lack of knowledge..... Thanks so much again and keep posting
Hi,
It is weird that some workitem can be logically deleted and prevent you from continuing other steps of this workflow;
If your workflow remain in status in process, it means that there are some steps that could be processsed.
However you can terminate a wokflow from transaction SWIA.
Best regards
Stephane
