How to calculate teh size of the infocube and ODS in bytes

Hi All,

I found some useful posts on how to calculate the volume of cubes and ods in the forums but I'm not completely clear about .

In one of the posts it says

"You can get the table width by going to SE11, type in the table name, go to "extras" and "table width". Also you can get the size of each record in the fact table in bytes. Next, you can find out the size of all dimension tables by doing this."

I did this but when I go to table width I get three differnet pieces of information :

Dictionary length ABAP length

Structure width 38 32

Key length 21 21

Length of data division 17 11

Now , which one of this information is table width and which one is size of each record in the fact table in bytes.

Also thepost says that you can the size of the ODS from transaction DB02.

I'm not sure how to read the information in this transaction as it mentions tablespaces and not tables of a ODS.

Please guide medo this.

Thank You,

Harini
