Link the combo box with Pie chart and column chart

Hi Team,

Please help me on below query

I have year and month in comboxes and want to see the data in pie chart and column chart

I have 2011 2012 2013 years in combo box, months in another combo box.

Want see the cities in in pie chart and sale revenue of respective cities in column chart.

Year	Mon th	city	sales revenue	Header 5	Header 6
2011	jan	Chennai,mumbai,hyd,Bangalore,delhi	1000,2000,2400,3000,1200
2012	jan	Chennai,bangalore ,hyd,Mumbai,delhi	3000,4000,3400,5400,2000
2013	jan	Chennai,bangalore,hyd,Mumbai,delhi	4000,4000.3211,3400,5600

when I select year and month from drop down relevant city and sales revenue will display on pie chart and column chart by using dynamic vibility how to apply pls respond to my query.

Hello Mohan,

Your Cities and Sales revenue are coming in similar fashion , what you have mentioned above?

I mean in one city column, all the respective Cities and their  revenues will come.?

Hi All,

When we select year and month from combo boxes then city will on pie chart and revenue will be on column chart.i have applied dynamic visibility on column chart but not getting .

when we click particular city on pie chart revenue will be displayed on column chart.Pls help me here.

Hello Mohan,

For above your requirement , I am think that you should have to pass Year and Month vales to database and get filtered records for City and their sales revenue.

Basically Pie chart is for Summarized data.

means only cities and their revenues.

and if you click on any of the city you will get details data may be by monthly revenue of that city.

otherwise , data what you haves posted above need to modify so you can achieve your requirement for some extend.

Here is the screen shot, for the same

take 1st combo box of Year , Use filter rows to filter the data, give source and destination.

now take 2nd combo box for month , User 1st combo box destination as source for second .

so now your data is now filtered till month city and revenue.

Now take a pie chart and use 2nd combo box destination for data and labels in Pie chart.
