WAD Reorts Convrsion from 3.5 to 7.x

Hi All,

In my project I need to migrate BEX WAD reports from 3.x to 7.x. Could you please suggest any links or guidelines in going further.

Do I need to recreate the entire report in 7.x WAD  or  Does migration tool in 7.x itself fulfill all the tasks of migrating from 3.x to 7.x ???

Thanks for the suggestion.

My Doubt is Do I need to Migrate all the Library items from 3.x to 7.x ? Bcoz, I want to migrate only 5 specific web templates from 3.x to 7.x, So for this can I directly go to WAD 7.x->tools->Migrate option . Will this work for complete replica? or Do i need to run any SAP Program for that.???

If so let me know how to run the program for my specific 5 web templates to migrate or any other way I can migrate???

Hi Karthik,

You can use program "RSZW_ITEM_MIGRATION_3X_TO_70" to migrate the templates.

Also you can do the same thing from WAD Tools as well.

Also refer the document which I have provided you will find list of possible errors from it.

Hi Karthik,

if you want to migrate only 5 Templates, would you not just open them in WAD version 7.x and then save it there?
