HI

We are having an issue for a specific material. The problem is that when we create a sale order for 20k or 30 K the finish date of planned order comes after 2 years but when we are using sale order of lesser quantity like 20 pcs or 30 pcs it is generating planned order finish date correctly.Any suggestion on why this is happening or how to fix it?

Hi,

Fine.

Base qty in the sense ?

If it is the problem means how you got correct finish date for 20 or 30pcs case.

Thanks With Regards,

Hi,

As per your standard value in routing the lead time is longer. You may use REDUCTION STRATEGY or ADJUST THE VALUES IN SCHEDULE MARGIN KEY or CAN USE PARALLEL PROCESSING or SPLIT PROCESS or OVERLAPPING PROCEDURES to meet sales order dates.

If need use ALTERNATE ROUTING via PRODUCTION VERSIONS.

Hi Dinesh,

The problem here is with planned order ,the time in routing will only come to picture whenever we convert planned order to production order but we are using basic date scheduling in MRP run so routing time should not effect the finish dates of planned order as for the schedule margin key we don;t have any floats before or after and in house production time in 2 days

Hi,

Maintained In-house production time is in MRP 2 view or Work Scheduling view ?

Your In-house Lotsize & UOM?

Is your Order start Date OK ?

What is the conversion factor b/w UOM "K" & "PC" ?

Thanks With Regards,

Hello Karan

It means that the lead time for such quantity is too long and, in order to avoid a planned order starting in the past, system uses today as the start date, scheduling the planned order forward.

I suggest you to check the in-house production time defined on tab work scheduling or the times defined on the routing, if  you are using detailed scheduling.

If it is OK for you to have a planned order starting in the past, then you can change the respective customizing on transaction OPPQ.

Hello Caetano,

Thanks for the reply

We are using t-code md03 and scheduling as 1(basic dates will be determined for the Plan) not lead time scheduling so routing time should not effect planned order dates .correct?also it is working ok for lesser qauantity order
