Transfer Flexible Planning to Demand Management in Dissagragated Proportions

Former Member

Dear SAP Gurus,

I've already created my own structure and also I followed all Flexible Planning customizing steps that different gurus recommend such as:

* Create my own Infostructure S9XXX as copy from S076 standard (MC21)

* Set Update Rules (MC24)

* Set Infostructure planning parameters (MC7F).

* Create Planning Hierarchy (MC61)

* Create Planning Type & Macros (MC8A)

* Calculate Proportions (MC8U)

* Create a Planning Table under inactive version. (MC93)

* Create Transfer Profiles and Execute Mass Processing activities to transfer to Demand my Product Groups (MC8D,MC8E,MC8G,SM37)

CURRENT SITUATION & ISSUE DESCRIPTION

The Consistent Planning scenario works perfectly until I try to transfer dessagregated proportion at member level of product group, i. e. after my PIR's have been transfered the quantities of my planning version are aggregated instead of dissagregated.

Please I need your advise or expertise in how can I handle this situation

Thank you I really appreciate your support.

Kind Regards

Sincerely

David.

Hello,

In Consistent planning data is directly disaggregated to most detailed level, where it is stored. This means any change in the data at any level, the change automatically transfers to other levels. The aggregation and disaggregation is triggered automatically

In addition to this, MACRO’S provides the mathematical calculation of key figures elements which can be done automatically during aggregation and disaggregation process.

In MC74 you can select the product group and memeber option so that it will transfer requirement of PG and PG member to demand management.

Please use the disaggregation function (transaction MC76) for your product groups.

Hello,

Thank you so much for your prompt response, actually I'm using MC93/94 for my planning table previously defined in the planning type (MC8A/B). Actually the issue wasn't during the dissagregation process, as you mentioned this process runs smoothly and automatically. My real problem was in the massive transfer (MC8E/MC8G) to DM  for members of Product Groups . Fortunately the issue no longer exist, the solution was in the order and definition of my characteristics within infostructure, after that I created again my planning hierarchy (MD61), calculated proportions (MC8A) and the dissagregated quantities to the demand management were transfered perfectly as PIR's.

If I can help you with some knowledge exchange don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you again for your valuable assistance.

Best Regards

David
