Using features to set plan benefits


Hi everybody,


I'm new with PA- BN,  Benefits, and I wonder if somebody can tell me if it's posible to assign a plan benefit by using a features that contemplates the field JOB from infotype 1, organizational Assignement.

    The assignment of valid benefit plans for an employee stems from the BENGR/BSTAT values given on their IT0171.  You can use feature BENGR via PE03 to determine what BENGR an employee is assigned by taking advantage of IT0001 fields such as org unit, work contract, employee group, personnel area, etc.  I have not seen it done by the job key field (STELL) but you might be able to speak to an ABAP'er to have them develop a custom program, called from feature BENGR, to determine BENGR based on job key.  Hope this helps!

      Feature BENGR once maintained will provide default BENGR value on employee's IT0171.  Same applies for feature BSTAT which provides default BSTAT value on IT0171.  What benefit plans to offer to employees are based on these BENGR/BSTAT combination values.

      IMG step: Personnel Management > Benefits > Flexible Administration > Programs > Define Benefit Programs

      It would be transaction HRBEN0001 that you would use to assign the plans to an employee based on the specific adjustment reason, such as 'hire'.
