Mid year Go-live activity

Dear All,

I need your valuable input on the below ESI scenario, because we are going live on January. First time I am using INLK process.

Scenario;

1. Employee gross salary is 25K and  I am supposed to maintain ESI infotype for ESI deduction. Because, employee gross salary got incremented to 13K to 25K in the month of November.

Will the ESI deduct for this employee??

2. Suppose, If we stop going for INLK and start running payroll directly from January onwards without previous data.

Will the ESI deduct for this employee??

Regards,

Vijay Kumar K.B

    Hi,

    Yes, system will deduct the ESI from january to April as per the ESI functionality but make sure you need to upload the ESI amounts from April to December in table T558C and later you need generate payroll process with using INLK schema and the same values will save in the clusters so that from january onwards system will take care of all the statutory deductions as per the legal requirement.

    Kindly let me know If in case you need any further clarification on this.

    Regards,

    Venkat Polisetty

    Dear Vijay,

    It all depends on your Esi wage type maintenance in the table T558C. if you wont maintain /3E1 & /3E2 from October month on wards when you done mid-year go live with or with out previous pay results, system will not deduct the ESI based on eligibility check /113 wage type.

    for mid year go-live wage types and activities, refer the below document:

    Mid-Year Go-live process - Indian Payroll

    Best Regards,
