SLT Stack Version

Hi Gurus,

My Client's HANA database is in SP10.They are planning to implement SLT for real time replication.

What should be the SLT stack & DMIS version for HANA Database SP10? Also how should I do the sizing of SLT system?

Hi Roy SAP LT Replication Server is shipped in an add-on call DMIS_*. You must install the add-on in your ABAP source system, and in the SAP LT Replication Server system The add-on DMIS_2011 must be installed in the ABAP source system for HDB SPS10. The compatibility between the different SP levels of the source system, the SAP LT Replication Server, and the HANA DB/Studio is as follows. ABAP Source System, SAP LT Replication Server and HANA DB/Studio: 1.(DMIS 2010 SP7-10 DMIS 2010 SP10 HANA 1.0 SPS3-10), 2. (DMIS 2011 SP2-9 DMIS 2011 SP9 HANA 1.0 SPS3-10). You are only able to use all available SAP LT Replication Server features with the highest SP /SPS level. SAP LT Replication Server installed in a separate system in a 3-tier approach is useful when the source system does not conform to the required SAP kernel or SAP NetWeaver versions. Experiences show that SAP HANA customers using SAP LT Replication Server tend to use a dedicated SAP LT Replication Server for productive use. An SAP LT Replication Server sandbox or quality assurance system is installed sometimes on top of an appropriate ABAP source system or on top of an SAP NetWeaver system. Regards Khaga

Thanks for sharing this.. Let me come to my question.. As per your post I should be using DMIS 2011 SP2-SP9 for my Source system, DMIS 2011 SP9 for my SLT system for HANA 1.0 SP10.Is it not required to have the same SP level of DMIS for source as well as SLT system?Why DMIS SP9 for SLT? Can I use SP7/SP8 for HANA 1.0 SP10?

Hi Roy If the SAP LT Replication Server is installed on a separate system, source system and replication server it is recommended to install the same support package level on both systems. Regards Khaga
