How can two cost centers be assigned to one valuation area in OKB9

Hello,

How can two cost centers be assigned to the same valuation areas?

I know if we enter valuation area for one of the entries then it is possible -

Is there a way that we can do the same thing without the valuation area, simply the valuation area and the cost center?

Thanks & Regards,

Suresh

    Hi Suresh

No..in standard you can't do. because CCtr is defined at Co Code level not in plant level.

    Hi,

Requirement is interesting...Most of the clients asking this, but what you are expecting by assigning two cost centers to a single valuation are...?

It is better to capture with one cost center later on you can re-post the amounts by using KB11N.

Let me know the exact requirement in detail....

    • Hi Suresh,

There may be N number of materials under the same valuation area it doesn't mean that  we need to assign a different cost center for each material.

It is better to go with a single cost center there by distribution as per the requirement...

      Hope you get the clarity....

    Hi..

You can use substitution user-exit instead of okb9.

You input your logic which select the correct cost center  to substitution user-exit.
