Does SMP3.0 SP10 supports local business objects (LBO)

Hi,

I am referring to local business objects (LBO) available in SUP (SyBooks Online). Just wanted to know whether latest SMP 3.0 SDK SP10 supports similar concept? If Yes, then how it can be done?

Hello Chirag,

SAP is still releasing MBO toolkit along with (SMP3 Mobile SDK) to support existing MBO/LBO based apps. Having said that, SAP doesnt encourge to develop any MBO based app from scracth on SMP3.

When you extract zip file of SMP3 Mobile SDK, you would another zip file inside (sdk-supportpack-3.0.8.28-drop3)

To work on MBO toolkit, you should use MBO runtime (comes along with SMP3 runtime).

Thanks for quick reply. I do not want to use MBO Toolkit. I am looking for similar feature in SMP Kapsel SDK where the it will allow me to create a local entities in offline store. These local entites does not required to be synchronized(flushed/refreshed) with offline store.

I havent come across this requirement in SMP3 kapsel SDK. Hope Daniel can share some inputs on this.
