Document Distribution - Compress Attachments

Hi experts,

is there a possibilty, to compress attachments which are sent via document distribution (CVI9)?

We are sending a lot of files there and want to compress them.

The problem is, that we exceed the max mail-size.

Hi Christian,

Yes , if you use SEAL Systems DMS Solution, you have ability to

create a .zip file with documents collected from SAP DMS.   This zip file can then be emailed or saved to a file share somewhere.

ok, but a solution in standard SAP mail system to compress date isn't possible?

      If you are storing in DB it automatically compresses the content by 5 times.
