alternate bom component field unable to edit in Subcontract PO

Dear Experts,

During creation of Subcontracting PO, we need to display the Alternate BOM component, but that field under extras is geyed out then how to change the component based on Alt bom.

Product version is working for two different vendors not working for same vendor.

I don't think there is any option to do in the PO. If you want make use of another alternative BOM then you have to exchange the product version in the info record prior to creating the PO

Dear Mr.Jurgen,

The product version concept working fine, for the info record with different vendors, but my scenario is one info record but different alt bom, in this case though the product version exists the req Alt bom component not updating.
