We use SAP and OneSource Indirect tax (Sabrix) and map SAP material codes to OneSource product codes for the taxability decision. After a business reorganization we discovered that some material codes had been mapped to the wrong OneSource product codes. After correcting this we found that only new purchase orders reflected the change in tax decision. Existing open POs did not reflect this change. Is there a way we can mass-update all open PO's to re-call OneSource and update for this change? Because there are thousands of impacted POs, doing this manually is not a practical option.
Hi,
Before updating tax code for all open PO's- you need to check tax cod nature(( non-deductable or deductable) and status of all open PO's( 1. open PO's at PO level, 2.open PO's at GR level, 3. open PO's at invoice level).
Once you confirm all with tax nature, you can use BAPI or LSMW tool to update tax code for all your open PO's.

You have few options
- Mass change-to update Tax codes
- LSMW if conditions or other data need to be changed that does not get updated using MASS t-code
- BAPI- create custom program to update the data
