Has somebody a solution for a 'one click access' to the Analysis Buttons 'Save Workbook' and 'Open Workbook'?
Actual they are in the file tab of MS-Excel in the backstage as shown in the hardcopy below.
I am looking for a possibiltity to have the buttons in the quick access ribbon or in the Analysis Ribbon.
with many thanks for any response 🙂

Hi Maria,
it's now more than 18 months that I played with that and never used in the meanwhile... so I don't have an appropriate answer, right now. But maybe you find any valuable Information here?

Please be aware that the Ribbon Menu does not work in Office 2007. You need at least 2010.
Best regards,
Martin

Hi Maria,
I don't know of any macro functionality to do what you want.
You can check this: http://scn.sap.com/community/businessobjects-analysis-ms-office/blog/2013/10/31/customuiribbon-quali...
But I think there is no real solution, so far.

Hi Martin,
thanks for the help, but I don't find a possibility to move the buttons for saving and opening the workbook to the ribbon.
Perhaps someone has an idea, how to build a menu like the role menu in bex, that can easy be opened. The users often open for the analysis one report after the other to control over different facts and views. The facts can't be held in one report. It's like one view over the booking time, one over the budget of a customer and one over the orders and the time disponible in TV.
Best regards
Maria
