Hello,
Until now we used the modeling perspective for developing Calculation views.
We would like to use Developer perspective.
Which kind of project should we use?
XS project is more for XS development.- We saw that Calculation views are available as an object but we are not sure it is the correct project type.
Is there a special project type for modeling?
We are in SP10
Thanks,
Amir
Yes XS is the correct project type for all forms of HANA development. No there isn't a special modeling project type. Actually with SPS 10 you wouldn't even need a project. You can perform direct editing from the Repositories tab of the Development Perspective as well.

Hi Tomas,
In the last TechEd (VEGAS) at the workshop we used the Developer Mode to create Calculation Views. The studio had "Navigator" TAB (see printscreen) and right click the mouse-->new had a menu to create Modeling views
I cant find this in the latest studio (10.2)
Is it a newer version?
Thanks,
Amir
