Hi All,

We are creating an Excise group for a Depot.

Could you please confirm whether the field "Consumption" under "Part1 Posting Trigger" tab for that Excise group.

It seems like. this tick required to update Part1 table update (J_1IPART1).

Please confirm whether this field should be ticked for Depot Excise group.

Regards,

Raja Durai

No. This is not at all required. If you activate the Consumption indicator Two entries will be generated during the Excise invoice creation / Register updation. One for Receipt and One for Issue for a Account assigned Purchase order goods receipt.

In other words, if you perform Goods receipt against an Account assigned Purchase order, system will create two entries in excise Part1 register one for Receipt and one for issue.

Why dont you check it in Dev environment and run one Account assigned cycle and see yourself how system creates entries in Part1 register. This is applicable for only Manufacturing Plants since in Depot there will not be any account assigned procurements happen.
