Extract EHS nutritional value composition to BW

Hallo Everyone,

We are working on extracting Specification data to BW. We have already extracted few properties of specification from the property tree. Now we are trying to extract nutritional value composition data (Value type SAP_RMS_1012_005)  to BW.

Is it possible to extract these data with any of the standard datasources. If so how? Or is there anyother way to extract these data?

It depends on your system landscape like which version of Netweaver, version of BI, classic EH&S or EHSM etc. Please give these details first.

I don't see SAP providing standard data sources specific to compositions data. Please refer below SAP help where only one data source of Specification - Material assignment is mentioned.

As you mentioned that you have already extracted few properties, can't you use the same extractor/data source for compositions also?

I would suggest you to sit with your BI/BW developer and get opened the BEx Analyzer. Search for the SAP EH&S data sources/info cubes/Info sources there itself; this approach should be easy for locating standard object if available. Finally if you couldn't find one, you can request your ABAP developer to create a custom extractor for feeding to BI by giving the technical details of EHS tables and fields.
