workitem forward not working from UWL

Hi ,

User is trying to forward item from UWL, it is not removed from his worklist .

it is sent to new user but not removed it from user who forwarded it .

below is the screenshot

as you can see from above screeshot that Lyinzi forwarded item to Michael on 21/10/2015-13:43:49 .

It was moved to Michael but not removed from Lyinzi

did not find any DUMP or application logs .

compared roles with user where it is working but no difference.

Please help

    Hello,

    In reality the workflow was forwarded, as you can see from the step history.

    You could check that (at the time) in SWI5.

    It could be that the UWL isn't being updated.

    • Hi Rick,

      if you will see the screenshot , it is given that item is forwarded by user but in backend it is not going away from user's worklist.you can see  item in user inbox by SWI5 and in the same item you can see it is forwarded by same user.

      UWL is just replica for SAP inbox .it is not removed from backend so it will not be removed from UWL

    Hi Kuldeep,

    Questions to ask...

    When you look at the workflow log, does it show the work item is with only that user or with both users?

    Did you refresh the UWL of the original user - i.e. is there a caching issue?

    Has the original user reserved the work item? In your screenshot the forwardee user has reserved it so at this point if it's still in the original user's inbox it's probably a caching issue.

    You might want to check the timing of refresh in the Portal Content Directory, and in the UXL xml config.  By default its about 5 minutes, but you can reduce that and that should minimize the problem.
